NM middle qual. (09/09/2011)

Middle qualifications. First individual race in Senior Men's class (H21). Quite nervous, but happy to be back in the game. Didnt have too many trainings before this race, so couldnt know much about shape or technique. Started OK, safe, but was very uptight, and didnt feel very comfortable or confident. Struggled to keep track of where I was running, and lost control too many times. Managed not to do any big mistakes, but found the terrain very difficult, and didnt get a good feeling until after the 9th control. Felt quite sure that it would be good enough to qualify if I didnt make any big mistakes. Happy that I managed to master the situation and get a decent performance out of a difficult situation. Running the Senior Men's Norwegian Champs was, no matter was, a really cool experience!
